About Volunteering

Our volunteers are integral to the health service and provide invaluable support to staff, patients and visitors.

About the service

Bendigo Health is supported by more than 300 volunteers who help out generously by giving their time energy and care to the patients, staff, residents and visitors. They assist in many areas across the organisation including palliative care, intensive care, emergency, inpatient rehabilitation, gift shop, discharge lounge and over five residential aged care facilities. All volunteers at Bendigo Health will require a Working with Childrens Check.
