WALK THE BLOCK WITH BENDIGO HEALTH TODAY
Across Victoria today, thousands of workers will be stepping away from their desks and onto their feet to ‘WALK THE BLOCK’ – an initiative by Victoria Walks to combat physical inactivity and to create happier, healthier workplaces.
CEO John Mulder and Executive Directors will lead Bendigo Health staff members around the block to demonstrate how easy it is to implement walking into workplace culture.
Sponsored by the Weire family, the Kelly Weire Memorial Award commemorates the achievements of the late Kelly Weire, who died tragically in a plane crash in Papua New Guinea in August 2009.
Kelly was an occupational therapist who embraced every opportunity with passion and determination and was committed to learning and improving her skills, continually challenging herself to be the best she could be.
