Deaf Access Loddon Mallee

Deaf Access is a Loddon Mallee program that supports participation and inclusion of deaf and hard of hearing people in the community.

Working in partnership with the community and service providers, the Deaf Access officer supports needs identification, prioritisation, development and implementation. The role includes monitoring, advice and information provision regarding emerging, current and historical issues for deaf and hard of hearing people, their families, carers, Bendigo Health staff and interested people.

Eligible: People who are Deaf, hard of hearing, their families, carers, employers, education facilities, service providers and interested community members.  

Area:  Loddon Mallee region. 

Deaf Access is a free support and information service; linking people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or other interested persons, with Auslan Interpreters, Auslan classes, services, service providers, advocacy, education, health needs and community support.
