Vehicles parked on Bendigo Health premises are parked at the owner’s risk. A limited number of onsite visitor car parks are available and a fee applies. Limited free patient parking is available on both campuses.
There are two main car parks located at Bendigo Hospital. The basement car park is under the hospital building and accessed via Mercy Street and the multi-storey car park is accessed via Lucan Street and connected to the hospital via a pedestrian air link bridge. Car parking is free for the first half an hour, $2 per hour and capped at $8 maximum per day. Car parking at the same rate is also available near the John Lindell Rehabilitation Unit with access via Mercy Street.
Time restricted free parking is available in the surrounding streets, including Arnold Street, Stewart Street, Barnard Street, Lucan Street, Bayne Street, Drought Street and Hope Street.
Failure to observe parking restrictions on Bendigo Health grounds and the surrounding streets may result in a parking infringement notice being issued by the City of Greater Bendigo.

Parking stickers are available for community volunteer drivers who, on behalf of their health service or local community groups, are accessing the hospital to drop off or pick up a patient. This sticker will prevent an infringement in our 10 minute drop off bay outside the hospital if the volunteers are delayed. The parking stickers can only be used for patient transport use and not personal use and is only applicable for the picking up and dropping off.
Community volunteer drivers are reminded that you can access Basement and Multi-story carparks for pick up and drop off for less than 30 minutes and no fee applies.
