Committed to developing the future workforce, Bendigo Health provides clinical placements for over 1,700 students each year studying Allied Health, Dentistry, Health Information, Medical Imaging, Medicine, Mental Health, Midwifery, Nursing, Oral Health, Paramedicine and Pharmacy. Bendigo Health works directly with Education Providers to coordinate placements for students so they may gain hands on experience and consolidate their learning in a practical setting. Please note all requests for Undergraduate Placements must be arranged by Education Providers with the Bendigo Health Clinical Placements Team [email protected].
A limited number of Medical Elective placements are available to undergraduate medical students from November to the end of January each year. Please note: these placements are independent of, and are not arranged by, Education Providers. All costs and arrangements must be covered by the students. Students interested in a Medical Elective placement are invited to submit a completed application form to the Learning, Education and Development Unit. Applications are open from 1st May and close 1st August each year.
