There will be 66 HMO positions available at Bendigo Health in 2022, consisting of PGY2 and PGY3+ doctors.

General Medicine at Echuca Regional Health or Swan Hill District Health General Surgery at Echuca Regional Health

How are rotations allocated?

Within your cover letter, the preferred rotations should be mentioned and this will be discussed further during the interview. Successful candidates will then have opportunity to rank all rotations in order of preference. Bendigo Health does their best to provide you with the required rotations for your training pathway.

Are there compulsory rotations?

The streams associated with specific specialties will have some defined rotations as part of the career pathway. Most HMOs at Bendigo will be required to undertake a Relieving or External rotation. The exception is HMOs on the Critical Care and BPT pathways.
