Community Allied Health Services support people to live at home safely and independently and remain active in their community.

What we do

Community Allied Health Services offer therapy services both at home and in a clinic setting.

Our experienced team provide individual therapy and group education in the following fields:

  • Dietetics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Podiatry
  • Speech Pathology
  • Exercise Physiology

Our services can assist you with mobility, balance and strength, independence and safety at home, communication and swallowing, nutrition, foot care and health education.

Who we care for

Our service is available to people eligible for:

  • Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services (people aged 65 years and over, or aged 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
  • Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP) services (people aged under 65 years or under 50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).

 

We also deliver services to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.

Our service is available to people living in the:

  • City of Greater Bendigo
  • Loddon Shire
  • Shire of Campaspe
  • Buloke Shire
  • Gannawarra Shire
  • Central Goldfields Shire (podiatry only)

How to refer your patient

Allied Health services are available to people eligible for:

  • Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services for people who have functional limitations performing their daily activities and are aged 65 years and over, or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Referrals are to be made via My Aged Care (hyperlink online webform).
  • Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP) services for people with moderate, severe or profound disability, aged under 65 years or under 50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Referrals are to be made via Bendigo Health Referral Centre.

Community Allied Health Services also deliver services to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.
