Accommodation for 60 residents. The bedrooms are generous single bedrooms with built in robes. All rooms have flat screen TVs installed.

There is a variety of single and shared ensuites available. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating to all bedrooms and common areas.

Environment

Stella Anderson Nursing Home has expansive corridors comprising of four wings with 15 single spacious bedrooms.

Each wing has a lounge room with adjoining dining rooms, tea rooms, and private sun room settings. 

There are expansive indoor recreational rooms and outdoor areas. The large outdoor gardens with walking paths provide a tranquil environment for residents and families to enjoy. The facility also has an onsite hair salon.

The home strives to a high standard of quality individualised care to meet your specialised needs and employs highly skilled qualified staff. Our staff work in collaboration with your chosen doctor to provide care.

Senior registered nurses are onsite 24/7 to oversee specialised aged care services. A qualified team of specialised staff are an integral part of the care team and assist in planning care outcomes for residents. This includes:

Extensive programs cater for the individual interests of the resident. We aim to make our lifestyle programs enjoyable, mentally stimulating, whilst meeting cultural and spiritual needs.

The homes have a bus that helps maintain access to the community for shopping trips and community outings.

Meals

Fresh home-style meals are prepared daily in consultation with our dieticians and are cooked onsite by qualified chefs. Meals are well balanced, healthy and delicious. Special dietary needs are easily accommodated.

My Aged Care

In response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety recommendations, the Australian Government has implemented a Star Rating system to help people better compare aged care services and make an informed choice about where they would like to live. These ratings are available on the MyAgedCare.gov.au website.
