Ward 5B caters for surgery in the fields of thoracic, urology, gastrointestinal, colorectal, head and neck, facio-maxillary, and ear, nose and throat (ENT). Ward 5B (Surgical) plays a pivotal role in patient flow throughout the organisation and Loddon Mallee region by facilitating transfers to and from the Emergency Department, ICU, Recovery, other departments and other health facilities.
